What we do…
Here at Intentionally Blank Projects we come together to make fun ideas a reality. It all started with the idea for a video game and now we are working on much more than that. Although we are just getting started we can promise you that we have SO much on the way. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are just as excited as we are to see what we’re working on!
Who we are…
Keawa Rozet // Co-Founder, Tech Lead
A robot beeps and boops in the distance.
You stifle a small cry with your hand, hoping to buy yourself a moment longer before it finds you. Deep in your heart you know why it’s after you, but you aren’t ready to hear what it has to say.
Bzzzzt… clink… beep boop… boop… clank…
Time. If only you had just a little more time, things could have turned out differently….
BEEP… BZZZZT… BEEP BOOP…
The beeps and boops are upon you now; mere inches from where you are cowering. You suck in a breath as the cardboard box hiding your face is slowly lifted off and discarded. You wince at the bright light reflected off the robot’s metallic surface. Its cold, lifeless eyes stare the fear of God into your soul as it looms over you.
KEAWA…
“No, no… Stop it! Please don’t...”
RO-BZZZ-ET…
“No, don’t say it! I’m begging you, I don’t think I can handle it!”
ENJOYS CODING VIDEO GAMES, TOSSING BACK BREWS WITH HIS FRIENDS, AND IS GENERALLY A REALLY COOL GUY.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Chris Kelly // Co-Founder, Design Lead
Here at IBP I hold many roles, but the biggest one is Head of Design. When I'm not working on IBP stuff, you can find me methodically thinking of new ideas, practicing various instruments, or playing video games. One of the biggest joys I get from creating is bringing joy to the people who view my projects. That's a principle I am definitely bringing to my work here at IBP, so look out for it!
Daniel Frank // UX & Game Designer
Hi, I'm Dan! I have a background in Interaction Design, Game Design and a few other designs. At IBP I am working on those sweet Level Designs and the even sweeter Game Mechanics. Lately I've been drinking coffee and working in a level editor called Dungeon Architect for Unity. I also enjoy planning fun ways to run startups and learning from all of the mistakes I make.
Mae Ware // Graphic Designer
Hey, I’m Mae. I’m the youngster of the group and I do design work for this team. I am a Sophomore at California College of the Arts and I am pursuing my Bachelors in, you guessed it, graphic design.
Lance Rice // Interaction Designer
I do the interaction design stuff.
Derek Fraats // Game Sound Designer
It all started when I got roped into this by one of my best friends, Keawa (Tech Lead). Back in highschool I always wanted to develop video games because why not? Video games are really fun! So I took some programming classes and built my first computer. From there we have pretty much gamed everyday since (not really, but kinda). If you’re a game enthusiast like us, why not have fun making your own?
Enter IBP.
One of my roles at IBP is to take what the design team makes, and to implement their designs and ideas into our website. The other, and more primary, role I have is to create the audio environment for our games or projects. This includes recording, editing, and adding these sounds to the game. Overall it is a lot of fun working with this team and I look forward to creating more projects with them in the future.
